The Midlands Innovation and Research Centre was established by Athlone Institute of
Technology as a converging hub for innovation, research and enterprise in the
Midlands.
The MIRC provides incubation facilities for innovative and knowledge-based enterprise,
an enterprise programme for entrepreneurs and start-ups, and makes available the
resources
and expertise of the Institute to support client companies.
The MIRC assists and advises entrepreneurs and client companies - and provides access to
its enterprise network - at every stage of a project’s development.
The MIRC works in partnership with Enterprise Ireland.
