John Concannon today spoke at the MIRC to entrepreneurs on the Midlands & West Enterprise Programme.

John spoke of his early efforts as a salesman, JFC’s emphasis on educating those who were actually selling its product and its focus on innovation from the outset.  The entrepreneurs learned much from John’s vision for the business and his lesson of building a team of good people around him and looking after them.  Also of great interest were the problems John faced, his discipline of 5 year planning (professionally and personally) and his view of the requirements to succeed and the pitfalls of company development.
