SolanoTech joins IMS-ARCS project. The IMS-ARCS project is a joint academic-industry collaborative project developing IMS expertise within the Irish Software and Telecommunications Industry. IMS-ARCS is developing a set of prototype services together with a set of common enablers to serve as exemplars of what can be achieved using IMS technology. SolanoTech joins a list of 25 of Ireland’s foremost telco service providers and suppliers as stakeholders in the project.

The IMS-ARCS academic partners include a number of key universities and institutions, each with a specific area of expertise. The lead partner is WIT’s Telecommunications Software & Systems Group, along with AIT’s Software Research Centre, NUI Maynooth’s Hamilton Institute, UL’s Interaction Design Centre and Fraunhofer FOKUS, Berlin.
