3Touch Innovation Partnership with AIT
July 2003:
A research collaboration between 3Touch and AIT’s Software Research Centre is established under Enterprise Ireland’s Innovation Partnership Programme. The aim of the project is to create a platform which will provide multimedia streaming in a limited geographical area using a variety of wired and wireless media transport technologies.
February 2004:
A prototype product is released to Bristol College.
June 2004:
The 3Touch suite of products is launched at the world’s largest audio visual show in Atlanta. It is widely accepted that 3Touch steals the show. The 3Touch Liberty product is selected as joint runner up by BITM in a world wide competition to find innovative audio visual equipment.
August 2005:
3Touch employs 15 personnel based in the MIRC.
