Centre for Biopolymer and Biomolecular Research (CBBR) The CBBR’s research focus is on biopolymers and pharmacologically active compounds and materials - particularly in the areas of cell and molecular toxicology, ecotoxicology, separation and analytical technology, drug discovery, drug delivery, combinational chemistry and tissue engineering.
Centre for Nanotechnology and Materials Research (CNMR) The CNMR is focused on nanotechnology and materials research and offers a contract analytical service to industry in addition to providing a tailored research capability. The CNMR encompasses facilities dedicated to materials analysis and testing, as well as processing and fabrication – the latter conducted under clean room conditions.
Software Research Centre (SRC)
The SRC has a very strong software engineering competency and deep domain knowledge in both fixed and mobile telecoms. The SRC is also focused on Fixed Mobile Convergence and IMS service development to allow enterprise networks to realise their full potential within the Next Generation Network.
