AIT Resources

A key objective of the MIRC is to leverage the resources of Athlone Institute of Technology in support of client companies. Among the resources available to MIRC client companies are:

• Access to the expertise of AIT, facilities and specialised equipment.
• Collaborative research projects.
• Technology transfer.
• Supply of appropriately qualified graduates.
• Consultancy services.
• Student work placement / student project work.
• Access to the Library and its online databases.

The External Services Unit of the Institute, which is based in the MIRC, has a long track record in linking the Institute’s research resources and technology capabilities to enterprise in the region – including companies based in the MIRC.
